Around the World in 80 Words! is a feature I write for Dartford Living, a magazine based in Kent, UK. I look at a different part of the world and write 80 words (derived from the novel Around the World in Eighty Days) about it. In this post I write about Malmo:

Sweden’s third largest city dates back to 1275 and is linked to Copenhagen by the impressive Oresund Bridge. Hosting a historic architecture influenced by both Swedish and Danish design, testament to it being a part of the Danish empire, it also has modern Swedish and Scandinavian influences. The city hosts numerous festivals all year round, a twisting skyscraper 620ft tall, The Turning Torso, a Modern Art Museum and a beautiful man-made shallow beach, ‘Ribersborg’, referred to as the ‘Swedish Riviera’.
